Dear friends of Lambda Island,

I hope you’re enjoying the summer (or winter, as may be the case)! I am in Lublin, Poland this week for the European Juggling Convention, an opportunity to recharge creative juices, and to look ahead at where Lambda Island will be heading the coming year.

This does mean I won’t be able to make a new video before I get back to Berlin early August. To not leave you with nothing I wrapped up an article that had been sitting in my drafts folder for a while. It’s about dealing with dates and times in Clojure, a surprisingly thorny subject. I remember this being a big source of confusion and frustration when building my first Clojure apps. Hopefully I can save some of you that frustration.
